Dodging disaster: when valuations matter

We cared enough to get the valuations done ourselves

One of our clients recommended us to one of his friends, the owner of a number of valuable watches.

It become apparent that he needed to get valuations, he needed to get valuations for a few of them, because these models were increasing in value quite quickly.

Due to the clients busy schedule, finding time to obtain new valuations was going to be difficult for the client this is where we stepped in.

We went to his house, and with his permission, we took photos of the relevant watches and managed to get them valued swiftly through one of our trusted partners.

If the watches had not been valued, then in the event of loss or damage, he would only receive the market value of a new watch, which, which, with the model in question was far less than the replacement value.

We simply could not allow that to happen ‘on our watch’ (pun intended.)
